It Takes a Village

It's 10am Saturday morning, the store has been live for less than 24 hours, and I'm pretty sure my inbox is in full-on freakout mode with all the 'order processing' emails. It's so awesome to see the race family come together and help our brothers & sisters over pit wall. For that, I thank you. I'd also be remiss if I didn't take a quick minute to give a shout-out to a couple additional nodes in the race economy that have helped me in this endeavor, while they too are dealing with their own slowdown in work from the CV-19 pandemic:

8380 Laboratories - I first stumbled on Ethan's work in 2018 when he rolled out one of the coolest hero cards I've ever seen at Road Atlanta. I later learned that he also does apparel, liveries, and a host of other automotive and motorsport design work - all with his pretty kick ass aesthetic. This year we're fortunate to have Ethan doing some hero card work for the Team Hardpoint IMPC entry, but more importantly he's the digital artistry behind the Flatten the Curve design.

Sideline Sports Photography - Mike and his team really need no introduction, but safe to say, if you've enjoyed the pixels of a race photograph, someone from Mike's team shot it. More specifically, if you've ever enjoyed the pixels of one of MY race photos - Mike's team definitely shot it. For the Flatten the Curve campaign, SSP was gracious enough to provide all the crew photographs you'll see throughout this site, on our GoFundMe page, and across social media. No one captures the essence of what these guys & girls do quite like Mike's pit team.

It really does take a village.
